A rigorous BMT program
BMT programs are taught by a specialized, multidisciplinary faculty team: physicians (MDs), Doctors of Dental Surgery (DDS), and nurse practitioners (NPs), alongside professors specialized in biology, anatomy and physiology, business, marketing, and legal topics. We select distinguished professors from our partner universities to become part of the curriculum. Our faculty is trained under the Cardona Method® framework and BMT’s educational standards, under the academic direction of Dr. Eduardo Cardona, so every student learns the same anatomy-driven, safety-first methodology wherever our programs are delivered.
Our curriculum also includes specialists in psychiatry and mental health who address the psychological side of aesthetic medicine, including body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) as it applies to aesthetic practice, preparing clinicians to understand patient expectations, recognize when treatment may not be appropriate, and care for the whole patient.
Hands-on training is complemented by a cadaver lab with human cephalic specimens, taught by specialists in cadaver dissection and anatomy, giving students a direct, three-dimensional understanding of the facial structures they treat.

Dr. Eduardo Cardona & Doreen Gutierrez
Dr. Eduardo Cardona, Co-Founder & President, is an internationally recognized educator, author, and clinician with over 20 years in aesthetic medicine and more than 22,000 procedures performed on patients during his clinical career. He created the Cardona Method® and directs BMT’s curriculum and faculty as National Program Director.
Doreen Gutierrez, Co-Founder & Vice President, is a business strategist and healthcare marketing expert who leads BMT’s business development, university partnerships, and operations, ensuring clinical expertise is matched by sustainable growth and a brand built on quality and trust.
Together, they owned and operated a medical spa for 15 years before dedicating themselves exclusively to education, founding BMT to bring that clinical experience to licensed professionals and partner universities. Over the past five years, BMT students have performed approximately 3,800 supervised procedures during their hands-on training.
